These reproduce what is sent to them very accurately making them great as a studio monitor and even better for home listening. Very impressive headphones for the price point.

A: These are very comfortable headphones compared to other closed-back headphones and can't beat the price. Not sure if there would be enough insulation from outside noise, but if you are in an office environment, I would think so.

A: No, the cord is not removable/replaceable on this model. However, it is removable/replaceable on almost any other higher series AKG headphone. I might recommend the k200 series if you want that feature.
