3. Installation

1. Find a flat surface (parallel or perpendicular to the ground) for mounting the camera, then secure the nuts and bolts in place.
2. Connect the power wire of the backup camera to the power of the reversing light.
3. Connect the 26ft extension wire of the backup camera to the head unit of the vehicle.
4. Test the backup camera by starting the vehicle and putting it in reverse gear.
5. Re-install the head unit.

Note: Please test the backup camera before routing the 26ft extension wire from back to front. If your head unit does not have a trigger wire, then you do not need to use the trigger wire.

4. Adjusting View Angle

The NATIKA rear view camera comes with 3 different size gaskets/shims to adjust the view angle. Choose the appropriate size gasket to achieve the desired view angle. After installation, check if the view angle is satisfactory. If not, choose a different size gasket/shim to adjust the angle.

5. Troubleshooting Tips

• If there is no image on the screen, check the camera and display settings. Test the camera using another device with an RCA connector, such as a TV, to ensure it is functioning properly.
• If the image on the screen is blurry, flickering, or has horizontal or vertical stripes, check all power and video connections. Use a different ground point (iron part) and wrap power and video plugs with electrical tape to insulate from interference. If the issue persists, consider ordering a 12V DC power adapter filter rectifier to resolve the problem, especially for Dodge, VW, Audi, BMW, and Mercedes Benz vehicles.
