Getting Started

Before you begin, ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4G WiFi network. The MOES Smart IR Remote Controller does not support 5G WiFi networks.

Step 1: Download the App

Download the "Smart Life/Tuya" app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and install it on your mobile device.

Step 2: Add Device

Open the app and tap on the "+" icon to add a new device. Select "Other" and then "Universal Remote" to begin the setup process.

Step 3: Connect to WiFi

Enter your WiFi password when prompted. Please ensure your WiFi is 2.4G as the device does not support 5G WiFi.

Step 4: Pair Device

Plug the MOES Smart IR Remote Controller into a power source using the provided adapter and USB cable. The device should start blinking rapidly, indicating it's ready to pair. Follow the instructions on the app to complete the pairing process.

Step 5: Control Devices

Once the MOES Smart IR Remote Controller is successfully paired, you can start adding devices to control. Follow the instructions on the app to add and control devices like air conditioners, TVs, fans, DVDs, STBs, TV BOXes, etc.

Cannot Connect to WiFi

Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4G. The device does not support 5G WiFi. Check your WiFi password and ensure your WiFi network is working properly.

Cannot Control Devices

Ensure the devices you are trying to control are within the range of the MOES Smart IR Remote Controller. The device should be placed in a location where it can reach all the devices you want to control.

Cannot Find Device in App

If you cannot find your device in the app, try the DIY setup and program the On and Off buttons from the original remote.
