FAQ:
Q: The wind mufs, cables and pouch are not pictured on the
description. Are those included?
A: Yes they all come in 1 box.
Q: China made?
A: No. Made in Australia!
Q: If I buy two sets can I then have 4 working mics on 4
channels?
A: Yes sir.
Q: Dji just released a microphone with a charging case, why rode
can not make a charging case for rode go?
A: I'm sure they could make a charging case, but didn't. However,
there are after-market cases. One from ZGCINE sells for $49.99 on
Amazon.
Q: Can the transmitters record internally at the same time it sends
signal to the receivers?
A: Mine don't have any internal recording capabilities.
Q: Will it work with a sony zv1? do i need to buy an additional
cable for the audio output and connect to my camera?
A: No additional cables needed, it comes with one. I have the zv-1
and wireless go 2.
Q: Second time using it and the microphone won't turn off, is there
a solution to this?
A: We have used Rode mics twice with initial success, but for no
longer than a year. Rode customer service was responsive and
helpful, however, could not offer solutions beyond packing up the
kit and getting a replacement. We have since started using an
alternative product. Note: our Rode mics never traveled or exposed
to anything remotely resembling adverse conditions. So I cannot
explain why they ceased functioning properly. Maybe compatibility
with IOS updates on the Mac. Not sure.
Q: Is compatible with Rode Wireless 1 Lavalier?
A: It says it is, but it didnt work for me. I had to purchase a lav
that had its own power -_-
Q: Can I buy three of these and stream in 6 channels without any
interference?
A: I haven’t tried it but in theory it should work.
Q: Can each Channel be adjusted individually
A: You can mute the Channels individually, but that is the only
individual control available. Gain control adjusts what is coming
out of the receiver, but not the transmitters. It’s not much of a
problem if you record in stereo and adjust in post. It might not be
the most ideal, but it certainly works for the purposes of this
system.
