A: I have been using this mascara for several years now, in black which is the only available shade. You would think that by now they would be offering it in brown or navy -- shades other than black? A: It clearly states in the product description that “If you receive the mascara unwrapped, it did not come from Essence Cosmetics.” As a single Papa who raised my daughter alone since she was an infant, I spent a lot of time purchasing and doing makeup with her (seriously, tutorials, modeling for her and everything in between lol) In my humble opinion based on that experience and some health background, I do not think anyone should purchase or wear unsealed cosmetics as you have no idea if they are toxic counterfeits, or used and full of germs. So look at this way, you know you aren’t supposed to share cosmetics with other people due to germs right, so if you get something that is unsealed, just assume someone has used it, say ick and return it for a refund.
