The reviewer purchased this item for $300.00 in "used, like new" condition from Amazon Warehouse deals. As advertised, it is truly "like new." The reviewer finds that the Yamaha provides ample features and excellent sound quality given the limitations of its' cabinet size and footprint. The design of the Yamaha is refreshing and refined, bordering on elegant. Although substantially larger, the design of the Yamaha TSX-B141 is reminiscent of the Proton 320 Clock/Radio. The reviewer would have given the Yamaha five stars, had it not been so overpriced. The reviewer believes it is well worth the $300.00 that was shelled out and not a penny more.

The reviewer purchased this high quality compact audio system for their vacation home. The reviewer finds that it has very good sound quality for a compact unit and includes Bluetooth, an absolutely essential ability given that so many people store music on their smart phones, tablets or computers. The Bluetooth functionality works well and it includes NFC instant pairing. Controls operate well and have a good feel. It can play music via the USB port. The reviewer highly recommends it to anyone looking for this type of system and thinks it is a much better value than the Bose Wave systems that are the reference for this type of audio system.

Problem with CD Eject
The reviewer purchased Yamaha TSX-B141BL Desktop Audio System because they wanted a compact Bluetooth system, with decent power, that would play CDs. The reviewer finds that the machine seemed to be working very hard to eject the CDs from the start, but they ignored it because it always ejected them. Until six months after purchase, it didn't. Sadly, when the reviewer looked up the warranty, they realized they had no warranty because they bought it used. So the reviewer took the machine apart (not recommended!) and was then able to eject the CD. The reviewer is scared to try another CD but will probably try one that they don't care about and see if it is magically fixed.
