• Great for filling large irregularly shaped rooms with immersive sound without having to have multiple speakers set up
• Connects wirelessly to your phone and devices, but requires the ARC HDMI feature for video and sound
• Complements a large TV rather well
• Full manual is available online, and was actually very user friendly in helping set up
• Can set up to perform basic functions with TV remote so you don't have to have two remotes out all the time

Cons:

• Expensive
• Requires a subwoofer for optimal sound experience
• Intelligent tuning feature may not work well in irregularly shaped rooms
• Large for a soundbar

Q: How do I get an Atmos signal out from my smart TV to this soundbar?
A: You just need to set up the sound output on the TV to bitstream so the soundbar can process the raw signal.

Q: Can the unit work with 220V of power supply?
A: The US and Canada model is 110V only. International models are 220V.

Q: Can I get Atmos effect by connecting the source to the TV, and then the TV to the soundbar via ARC?
A: Yes, but not full uncompressed Atmos. You can pass compressed Atmos over DD+ via regular ARC.

Q: Does it support 220-240V or only 110V?
A: The product supports both 200/240V and 110V for international models.

Q: Can it be used out of the box in India? Voltage 220 V 50 Hz
A: No, it cannot be used out of the box in India as it does not support 220V power supply.

Q: Are the voices lost in the room or can I identify the sound side with the scene in the TV like a plane moving from Yemen to the left?
A: For a soundbar, voice and sound separation are impressive. You can identify left to right sounds, as well as above and behind sounds once the system is calibrated with the furnished IntelliBeam microphone. The sound is even more dispersed with Blu-ray or high-resolution audio content. Adding a subwoofer can improve low-frequency sound.

Q: YSP 5600 out of the box has a very strong odor, similar to burning an electrical device. Thoughts?
A: There should not be any strong odor when unboxing this product. If you experience such an issue, contact Yamaha customer support for assistance.

Q: Will this work with Apple Music?
A: Yes, it should work with Apple Music as long as it can connect to the MusicCast app.

Q: What is the max size of the room for this soundbar?
A: The soundbar can calibrate itself. It works well in a 1000sqft open floor plan room with 12’ ceiling, and the ATMOS imaging is better in smaller rooms.
