A: The cables are proprietary because MEE audio found that their 2mm connector is more reliable than MMCX in the long run. The included stereo cable is not balanced because in-ear monitor transmitters, personal monitor mixers, and other equipment into which professional monitors are usually plugged do not support balanced audio.

A: The MX1 Pro is a great start as a studio mixing IEM. Its sound profile is pretty much neutral, which is perfect when mixing. The MX Pro line allows you to upgrade to a higher model in the future and still use the same accessories.

A: The MX4 PROs are designed for stage use and studio monitoring with high-fidelity reference characteristics. However, the MX3 PROs are best for vocalists and guitarists focusing on crisp, focused midrange sound characteristics.

A: It depends on the shape and size of the user's ear, so the best way to know is to try it. Generally, more of our customers use the lower-profile M6 PRO model rather than this model for side sleeping and under helmets.

A: This model has a unique non-rotating earpiece connector, unlike most detachable-cable in-ear monitors. When connecting the earpieces, make sure the notches on the connectors "catch" and the cable goes in smoothly, and you should not have any problems with them coming loose.
