The USB charging feature eliminates the need for frequent battery replacement and the nano materials used in the outer shell make it sweat-proof and fall-proof. The product also comes with a simple six-step guide on how to wear the device. Some users have reported initial screeching sounds but this is normal when ambient sound is amplified. FAQ
Q: How does one change modes to reduce background noises such as in a noisy restaurant or store?
A: There are 2 ways to adjust your hearing aids. The first control is on the top, which is a dial that is numbered 1-4, with 1 being the lowest and 4 being the highest volume. When you find the number setting you are comfortable with, you can fine-tune it with the button in the middle. As you push the button, the sound will continue to get louder, beeping at each level until it beeps 4 times, at which point it goes back to the minimum level of sound.
Q: Is this price for one or two devices?
A: It is for a pair of hearing aids. My husband said they are awesome and work better than the $400 set he had before.
Q: Can I download a brochure?
A: I don't think so about a brochure. I do have those hearing aids, and they are really nice. I usually keep mine on number two, and it's plenty loud for me. The charger is also good to have.
Q: Why not wear it too long in a day and take it off and rest every 30 minutes?
A: It is recommended not to wear them continuously for too long a day. Take them off and rest every 30 minutes to avoid discomfort.
Q: Is it a Lithium battery?
A: Yes, it is a lithium-ion battery that is rechargeable.
Q: Do these have Bluetooth?
A: No, these hearing aids do not have Bluetooth connectivity.
Q: How do they work with a cell phone to ear?
A: There may be a high-pitched noise whenever you have them up against your phone; however, on speaker (as in not against the aid), there will be no noise.
Q: How is it charged? What kind of charger and plugging in is required? For instance, is it a USB, and if so, which USB?
A: It is charged with a USB cord to a special plug.
