A: No, the camera only works with 2.4Ghz wifi.

A: Yes, it is an outdoor security camera, but please keep the camera from water cause it is NOT waterproof.

A: No, this wifi camera is not a battery camera. It needs to connect to the E27 light socket all the time.

Q: Do I have to subscribe to the cloud service to use the camera?
A: No. Cloud storage is optional. Users can use the camera without subscribing to cloud storage.

Q: Can I share the camera with other people?
A: Yes, our app allows you to invite several family accounts and share the security camera with them.

Q: This camera is quite expensive, what are its advantages over others?
A: At under $30 for a camera with all these capabilities, this is not expensive at all. And for the person that claims the connection kept dropping, the fault doesn't necessarily lie with the camera -- it could be the quality of the wifi connection or else the distance from the camera to the access point.

Q: If I live in New York state and reside in Florida for the winter, can I see my home back in NY on my cell phone from Florida?
A: Yes you can. This camera is a wifi camera, just make sure the camera is connected to 2.4Ghz wifi and the camera is powered by your light socket all the time. When the camera is online, you can view the livefeed and use other functions anywhere, anytime.

Q: Can I put a 512gb SD card or does it need to be a 128g?
A: We recommend you using a TF card from 8G to 128G. If you use more than 128G, the camera may fail to record.

Q: Does the camera work with 5G wifi?
A: No, this camera doesn't work with 5Ghz wifi. Please make sure your wifi is in 2.4Ghz band. Or you can setup one more 2.4Ghz guest wifi for the camera to use.

Q: Will this work with a coach lantern that has a dawn to dusk sensor?
A: Yes, but if you want 24-hour security it's not going to record during the day.

Q: Do you have to remove the SD card to replay images on another device or can images on SD card be replayed without removing?
A: You can view the recording on SD card on your phone without removing it.

Q: I don't see where I can choose to move/tilt camera around on app to see a certain area of my backyard. Is there an option in settings?
A: Please go to the app--live feed page--tap Console then you can move/tilt the camera.

A: Yes, you can install it inside an outdoor light fixture.

Q: Will this fit into a can light on the front porch?
A: It would depend greatly on how big your recessed lighting fixture is. These bulb/cameras are much bigger than a conventional bulb- approximately twice as long I would estimate. So, it will most likely screw in the fixture- but whether it hangs too low may be an issue.
