FAQ
Q: Can the display be wall mounted or only table stand?
A: The sensors have slots to wall mount, but the display does NOT.
Q: Will the main unit pick up the signal of 2 units which are within 200 feet, but under the house in a crawl space?
A: Yes. We have one of the 4 sensors in our crawl space, and it works fine. On setup, you have to have patience as it can take each sensor a few minutes to register on the main unit.
Q: Is it Alexa compatible?
A: No.
Q: Does this include a power cord? Yes or no? Also, can the unit be mounted on a wall? If not, does it have a kickstand on the back?
A: The main unit and remote sensors are battery-powered, and battery life is good. So no power cords. Yes, I added a hook to the back so it could be wall-mounted.
Q: How do you program an alarm?
A: Page 8 and 9 in your instruction manual has step by step to set and change the alarm. I have not set an alarm myself.
Q: Will the clock work abroad without WWVB signal?
A: You can disable the time signal reception and set the clock manually if you'd wish.
Q: How do I go about getting more stickers?
A: Dear Customer, Thanks for your question. Sorry that we didn't sell the sticker solely. Maybe you could use sticky notes if you need more stickers. If there are any other questions that we can help with, please let me know, we are always here. If there are any problems, please feel free to contact us through Amazon() or Email: [email protected]. We always are here to provide a solution and support for our customers. Newentor Team.
Q: Can the displayed date be changed in the settings to month day i.e. 1m 30d instead of day month i.e. 30d 1m or are you stuck with day month?
A: Pretty sure you're stuck with the default ordering.
Q: Are you able to program a name for each sensor, or can you only choose from a list of presets?
A: They are pre-identified on the screen. They furnish stick-on labels that are sufficiently detailed as to easily identify each sensor. Well thought out, and I am very satisfied.
Q: Does the unit display barometric pressure in inches of mercury?
A: Yes, it does show BP in inches of Mercury.
Overall, the Newentor Weather Station is a great device for monitoring temperature and humidity in multiple locations around your home. It comes with three remote sensors that can be placed up to 200 feet away from the main unit, and it displays the temperature and humidity of four places on the screen. The weather forecast function calculates personalized forecasts based on barometric pressure trends, and the atomic clock and dual alarm help manage your time better. The device is easy to set up and view with a large screen, but it runs completely on batteries (2 x AA, not included). The product FAQ covers important questions about mounting options, alarm programming, sticker availability, and more.
